Why? Well, the answer to that is simple. There is nothing more important than in life than relationships, be it your hilarious friends or your ever-loving family. However, for many months of the year, it’s possible to get bogged down in the hustle and bustle of life in Sydney. With work demands, school demands and so many other demanding responsibilities that require hours of attention, most people fail to find time to spend with their loved ones.

This is why memorable weekend barbeques are so important. In this blog, we are going to share a signature grill chicken breast recipe with you that will be sure to have your friends and family marveling. We’ll help you grill a chicken breast that so luscious, juicy and flavorful, that it will be the highlight of your barbeque event.

Step 1: Tenderize the Breast

Firstly, if you’d like to soften the breasts texture and make it that much tastier, it would be best to tenderize the meat. For this, you’ll need a meat tenderizer and some plastic wrap. Cut the chicken breast in half then place each half into the plastic wrap to prevent the loss of valuable juices. Once this is done, you’ll want to pound each half delicately to an even thickness. (Please note: in the absence of a tenderizer, a rolling pin will work as well).

Step 2: Marinate the meat

After tenderizing the breast, you’ll now want to marinate it and infuse the meat with all of those delicious flavours that make grilled chicken so tasty. For this, you should place the meat into a bowl, add a little oil, and then mix in some spices and juices to give it that extra… pizzazz. Add lemon juices and some herbal flavours, or season the meat with chicken spice and mild chilli. Whatever flavours you choose to marinate the meat with, you should make sure that their complementary and that they balance well with each other in seasoning the meat to perfection.

Step 3: Grill the Breast

Once the breast has been left to marinate for a few hours (3-4 at the very least), it will now be time to whip out your BBQ grill and cook the meat. Grill the meat on medium heat, and let the meat cook until the breast is white all over (not pink), has browned perfectly along the grill lines and has an Internal temperature of 74°C

And there you have it. Here’s how to grill a delicious chicken breast for the perfect afternoon barbeque.
